You may be familiar with Audre’s Revenge Film Collective from horrifically subversive projects like Flesh and the They Will Know You By Your Fruit photo series, all of which center queer people of color both in front of and behind the camera (and if you’re not familiar, click those links and get into it!). We at 4MileCircus are big fans and are thrilled to be helping Audre’s Revenge produce their next film, Bitten, A Tragedy, which we are crowdfunding for right now on Seed&Spark!
Bitten, A Tragedy is written and directed by Monika Estrella Negra who also stars as Lydia, a queer black woman navigating microaggressions, gentrification and trans-generational trauma in Philly. It’s also about vampires. It’s going to be awesome.
In order to make this film we need to raise $14k in about a month. We’re getting backers (thank you!!!) but still have a ways to go. Please check out the campaign page to learn more! There are lots of cool incentives including Audre’s Revenge swag and credits on the film itself. Be an associate or executive producer! Or, at a lower price point, get awesome custom-made personalized gifs! If you can’t give cash, check out the gear/locations/etc wishlist and see if you can make an in-kind donation.
